As Legislature works out casino deal, Barney Frank aims to lift ban on online gambling

Massachusetts lawmakers arent the only ones pushing gambling as an easy source of tax revenue. Their counterparts in Washington may soon be weighing a similar move. U.S. Rep. Barney Franks House financial services committee approved legislation Thursday championed by the Newton Democrat to legalize Internet gambling.
